Curatorial Statement

Hong Kong is a city often dreamt of for its neon-lit alleys, futuristic skyline, and vibrant communities where East and West meet and mingle.

I have always held an image of Hong Kong carried by the media of the 80s and 90s. This version of the city, unfortunately, is slowly disappearing as it evolves and reinvents itself.

I have gathered this collection of images as my own homage to the Hong Kong I always imagined, the one I dreamed of as a child and which still fills me with such joy to explore.
